Project is to completely redesign an existing company’s image and website.
Company Background:
International Matchmaking and Marriage Agency that makes regular trips to South America to introduce single men to single latin american women looking for marriage.
Website Functionality (can be completed in phases if necessary):
Phase 1
– Utilize PHP, MySQL and/or any other free technologies to display and organize the website and its content.
– Display basic company information and navigation of the website.
– Organize information such as text content, photos and you tube video clips for previous tours to South America.
– Allow for registration of users both male and female to the website and allow creation of user profile to include personal information and photos (i.e. online dating websites).
– Database of user profiles must be searchable.
– Profiles should also be able to be added by admin in cases where users can not add profiles themselves.
– Allow for a user friendly backend admin area to allow for adding of website content and articles as well as manually entering profiles. A CMS may be used for this purpose.
Phase2
– Allow for community interraction between user profiles based on paid subscriptions using PayPal payment processing.
– Allow Predefined text messages to be sent to other users.
– Allow Custom written messages to be sent to other users using a ‘blind’ email system where neither user may see the personal email of the other user.
Phase3
– Allow ability to enter a private 1 on 1 chat/instant message window.
– Allow for video/webcam 1 on 1 chat sessions.
Timeline:
Phase 1 – Needs to be complete and operational by August 31, 2010.
Phase 2 and 3 – No later than October 31, 2010.
