This is an interesting, moderately complex project to create the an online study site for candidates for a state licensing exam.
This website will be a membership site: students will pay for access to the study materials and online practice exams.
For the purpose of this project, there are two parts to this site: the “front end” where students have access to the study materials and their study scores, and the “admin side” where the site owner can input and edit content. The programmer will not be responsible for “peripheral” pages of the site –i.e., “About Us”, “Home”, etc. Only for the study portion.
Membership and payment administration will be done via aMember (www.aMember.com) software; I need a programmer I can work with to create the study portion of the website and to integrate the aMember portion where necessary.
As there will be an extensive amount of content on this site, we would like to have a “temporary” database and basic input forms created first so that the client can begin inputting his content right away while the full site is being constructed.
I would prefer not to use Joomla for this project. You are welcome to suggest other CMS’s, but it should be stable, fast loading, easy to administer and modify/update. The site will be hosted on a Linux server.
Deliverables include the source files.
I am looking for an experienced and reliable programmer with outstanding communication skills who will keep me updated on progress (without my nagging to do so), help solve any issues related to the development of the site and deliver a robust, stable product in a timely manner. After the site is launched, the programmer should also be available for debugging and occasional assistance (at pay, unless the error is a programmer error).
