I’ve mentioned a number of components for easily creating modal views such as BlurryModalSegue which allows you to create modal views with a nice blurred background using the Xcode Storyboards tool.
Here’s an open source called MaryPopin from Backelite that allows you to easily create modal views with some nice features and customization options.
MaryPopin provides a number of transitions for presenting your controls that utilize UIKit Dynamics, allows you to customize the size, and has a subtle parallax effect.
