Earlier this year I mentioned a very nice configurable text entry view designed for source code.
Here’s an open source library submitted by Nic Hubbard that provides an extensive full featured rich text editor component with a very nice set of features called ZSSRichTextEditor.
ZSSRichTextEditor provides all the features you would expect from a rich text editor (font styling, lists, headers, undo, alignment, color selection, and more), and in order to display these features provides a professional looking iconized scrolling button bar that sits above the keyboard.
