I’ve mentioned a number of libaries to help in guiding app users for creating introductory tutorials for your apps such as ICETutorial and most recently a library allowing you to add a spotlight to highlight user interface elements.
Here’s an open source library called iOS Product Tour from ClĂ©ment Raussin inspired by the Garage Band Help System allowing you to easily attach informative help bubbles to buttons and other views to help the user.
You can customize the button colors, and fonts, and there is support for multiple lines of text in a bubble, and you can conveniently shut off all bubbles from displaying if the user turns off the help system.
Here’s an animation showing iOS Product Tour in action:
You can find iOS Product Tour on Github here.
A nice easy way to add a help system into your apps.
