A few months ago I mentioned a nice open source component for creating photo galleries inspired by the Tweetbot and Facebook apps called IDMPhotoBrowser.
Here’s an open source component for easily creating photo and video galleries with a nice clean iOS 7 inspired style and a multitude of features called MHVideoPhotoGallery from Mario Hahn.
Some of the features that are included are:
– Support for different video sites and formats (Youtube, Vimeo, mp4, mov, mp4)
– Easy image/video downloading
– Tap/drag to open and dismiss images and videos
– Sharing of items with a nice interface for selecting multiple items
– Scrollable preview galleries in a horizontal table
– Table layout with descriptions
– Thumbnail image based gallery overviews
– Support for dragging/zooming
– Nice smooth animations throughout
