I’ve mentioned a couple of tools making it easier to distribute your test builds such as AirTest which providing a mac and iOS app for easier building over your local network, and Shenzhen which allows you to send your builds to Testflight through the command line.
Here’s a command line tool submitted by Big Papoo that allows you to set up a local server in order to distribute your Adhoc builds in a similar to online tools such as TestFlight called AppStaller.
AppStaller allows test builds to be installed within Mobile Safari you simply place your provisioned IPA file in the AppStaller directory start AppStaller and then when you visit the server with Mobile Safari and automatically install the IPA.
You can find AppStaller on Github here.
A nice tool if you need to distribute your apps and are looking for an alternative to using the Apple Configurator or the no longer upgraded iPhone configuration Utility.
Thanks to Big Papoo for the submission.
