I’ve mentioned a number of slide in/out type menus most recently MCPanelViewController that provides a side panel with a transparent background, and a zoom out drawer type menu control.
Some of the older controls for creating slide in menus have issues with storyboards on iOS 7 so here’s an up-to-date control submitted by Arturdev for creating slide-in-and out menus with a number of nice features.
You can use AMSlideMenu with storyboards, and you can customize how the control responds to gestures, open the menus programatically with or without animations, and give the slide out menus a depth effect which causes them to open behind the main view with shadowing, and then pop out as the menus slide in.
Here’s an image from the readme showing AMSlideMenu in action featuring gesture responsive control:

You can find AMSlideMenu on Github here.
A nice slide out control that works well with the Xcode 5 Storyboards tool, and runs well in iOS 7.
Thanks to Arturdev for the submission.
