We are looking to develop an iPhone app that will be used by rare disease patients. The attached PDF provides a mockup of the types of functionality we seek.
We have an existing website that has the news and information, clinical trial listings, and clinic locations. We’d like to be able to continue managing the content on the website and provide the data in XML or other format you may suggest.
Open on suggestions for the architecture to best push changing information out to the patient population. Would like the ability to have them text to a phone number or provide another means for them to donate to the cause. (might just charge different amounts for the downloading of the app?)
Technical folks running the project, but not overly familiar with iPhone app architectures, but can provide the data necessary in any format that would make the iPhone develpment easiest.
