I want an online system where my students must log in once a week, answer a couple yes/no questions (by checking a box), then add some thoughts of their own (like a blog). A week structure is from Monday to Sunday. If they DO NOT log in and answer the questions each week by Saturday, they are automatically sent a reminder email. If they do not do it by Sunday night, I am sent an email telling me they did not log in and do the required work.

As you can see, when you log in you to go the calendar – today’s date. They then fill in their thoughts for the day. They CANNOT write in previous days – only today’s day. And looking back through dates, the days they have written on are highlighted and can be read by clicking on them.
I want those things to work the same way. I just want to add 2 questions they have to check boxes for – and the automated email system – the warning email to them, and the email to me if they do not do their blog for the week.
In my admin I assign the students their username, password and email address.
Like with the current system, only I and the student can see their blogs. They should not be able to edit their older posts.
