The MasterCard MIGs Payment Gateway is a WordPress Plugin which allows the WooCommerce plugin to accept credit cards on site. So users do not leave your site for payments to enter their payment information.
What is MIGs?
The MasterCard Internet Gateway Service (shortened to MiGS) is a payment gateway system that allows banks to accept credit card payments online using a service provided by MasterCard.
Who uses MIGs?
The following banks currently use MasterCard MIGs for all online credit card transactions:
- ANZ (eGate)
- Bendigo Bank
- Suncorp (Virtual POS)
- HSBC
- Bank of Mauritius
NOTE: This is just a short list of major banks that use MIGs as there payment processing system.
Requirements:
- Commonwealth Bank Merchant Account
- Server with cURL Support (most hosts have cURL support)
- A SSL Certificate (Optional but highly advised)
