I’ve mentioned a number of custom photo picker controls, most recently iOS-NBUKit which provides a custom picker control, gallery view, image cropper and filter selection view.
Here’s an open source user interface control for picking multiple photos and videos called CTAssetsPickerController.
CTAssetsPickerController uses the user’s photo library, and you can select the maximum number of selectable items, and choose if you only want the user to pick from their photo’s or videos.
