We have a hit counter site and have just developed an interface which we can apply styles to the counters.
We have 156 styles of counters and need to have each counter added to up to 5 styles. e.g. Black Background, Red Numbers, Digital, Fun. Most Popular will be a styles as well, you can add your favorite counters to that. the styles are easy to add to each counter as it is just a matter of picking from the dropdowns.

Also, if you look at counters.gif we have an amount of digits (see 1.) this represents how many digits are required to get to the red arrow going across the page.
