We have a web site in Joomla, we want to give the users the ability to record themselves through their web cam and upload it to the website.
In order to eliminate video and audio sync problems and broadband dependencies, we would like to create a plug-in / active x that the user will have to install that will make the web cam recording locally on the pc and not on the server, and only when the user is finished then it will automatically upload the recorded file to the server. The component needs to be cross platform so it doesn’t matter what operating system the user has installed (windows or Macintosh).
