Project Description
Abstract: A simple timer game will be developed on the Android operating system. Features will include music playlists via phone storage, streaming audio via data connection, and various customizable options. Requirements
Basic Requirements
– The software shall repeatedly countdown from sixty seconds for a user configurable time (thirty minutes, sixty minutes, and one hundred minutes).
– The software shall play an audio clip when the countdown reaches zero.
– The software shall allow the user to select an audio source of local phone storage or a preset streaming music source.
– The software shall allow the user to select an audio playlist if local phone storage is selected as the music source.
– The software shall randomly change the audio file if local phone storage is selected as the music source.
– The user interface shall be aesthetically pleasing.
Advanced Requirements
– The software shall allow the user to select shot glass size in fluid ounces.
– The software shall compute estimated blood-alcohol content as each minute passes after the game has commenced.
– The software shall warn the users after their blood-alcohol content has exceeded the normal legal limit.
– The software shall continue to run in the background unless the user explicitly quits.
– The software shall allow incoming calls.
– The software shall continue to run in the background in the event of an incoming call.
– The software shall pause in the background in the event of an incoming call.
– The software shall save its state in the event of an incoming call.
– The software shall save its state if focus is lost.

The software shall be delivered as ready for submission to the Android Market.
