Over 3 years ago now I mentioned the MBProgressHUD an open source control for creating good-looking minimalistic progress indicators in a similar style to those created with the private UIProgressHUD.
MBProgressHud is several years old there are a few issues with the component, so Gunwoo Choi has created a new library inspired by MBProgressHUD with newer-APIs providing more stability along with more customization options called HTProgressHUD.
HTProgressHud can create standard indicators, pie chart indicators, and ring style indicators and here are a few images from the readme showing HTProgressHUD in action:
You can find HTProgressHUD on Github here.
A very nice replacement if you’re having issues with MBProgressHUD – if you’re looking to make some really fancy indicators you might check MMProgressHUD which was mentioned last month.
