I’ve mentioned a number of open source projects you can use to enhance your apps with blurring effects, most recently this example showing how to create a high performance movable blur mask.
Here’s a library you can use to display a dynamic blurring effect inspired by the Yahoo Weather app from Dimitry Klimkin called DKLiveBlur.
With DKLiveBlur you can define exactly how you want the dynamic blurring effect to work, and in the included demo as you scroll down the list of places the level of blur increases.
