Thank you

I’d like to say thanks to you, dear reader, for your continued interest in my writing over the past year. I posted a blog retrospective in late 2011, giving traffic stats and listing the most popular posts of the year, and I thought it would be interesting to (slightly belatedly) do so again, for 2012.

Readership, whilst still modest, has been growing healthily since the last time I shared statistics, and I’m grateful that people are continuing to find value in the words I publish here. Here’s the latest graph of visitors, unique visitors, and pageviews for the years 2007-2012 inclusive.

(The graph is clickable to visit the original on Flickr, which includes a textual summary of the data for those who can’t see the graph itself.)

This blog isn’t the only place you’ll find my writing: I regularly write guest pieces for tech-industry magazines, and I’ve had a monthly column in Tap! magazine since the very first issue two and a half years ago.

I’ve also had the privilege of having pieces published in each of the first two issues of The Loop Magazine, and I’m very keen to write more in the future.

Here are some of the most successful articles I wrote during 2012, in no particular order.

I’m just a few months away from this blog’s ninth anniversary, which is quite a milestone. I get a great deal of satisfaction from writing here, and I hope to continue for a long time to come.

You can stay up to date via my RSS feed or by following me on Twitter or on App.Net.

Thanks for reading.
