I am interested in having a website created for my private investigation/business intelligence/security product company. I am looking for someone to do the set up the website and help periodically with updates. This is a start up company, the funds are coming out of my pocket so the bid should be reasonable. I know Joomla is free and most of the addons are free. I am joomla literate and want to be involved with the process.
The website(s) should focus on three parts. Free information, a online store (for tangible products), and a client section that allows pre-screened clients (people I know) to place orders for intangible products that has an automated order and billing system separate from the online store.
Part one:
Website: This section is to be fast and take advantage of the large amount of SEO content that will me eventually placed into it. Basically a free source of information that is geared to attract customers and establish credibility for the business sections of the website. I am not looking for forums, but maybe a blog type style system that can cover topics related to the business side. I want an EASY interface for those who are inexperienced in computers to be able to contribute with minimal supervision. So in other words, multiple users, I want to be able to approve the content, but they do not need much more experience than a word processor. This section needs to be technically SEO friendly.
Part two:
Shopping cart/online store: This is simply a section that I can easily sell security products (camera systems, audio recording systems, GPS, and etc). Priority is simplicity of the sale process.
Part three:
This is a client section that my clients (not shopping cart clients, private investigation clients) can goto to place orders. The system should send the orders to my subcontractors and invoice them. Most of my products I can provide via file, I would like to be able to upload their products and send a notification to their email that the product has been uploaded. I need a full invoicing system that allows me to keep track of everything. Priority is security and flexibility.
The website should have a decent client management system that differentiates the type of clients from shopping cart and contract work. I would be interested in implementing an agreement section for work performed etc.
That is the basis of the concept. I realize the outline is pretty basic so I would like to hear your creative details and what you can provide. I plan to complex products into the function of the website after it is set up.
I realize most of this can be done very cheaply through Joomla. I have experience in creating websites so I do not expect unrealistic bids. I have plans for some pretty complex additions to this site.
I prefer someone who has some type of experience in working with my field.
