I run a “post to host” service for those of you who don’t know what this is,
basically I give users free hosting in exchange for posting in my forum.
Each post counts as 1 point and each hosting plan requires a certain amount
of point. So for example my Plan A hosting requires that you make 3 post in
the forum (new threads or answers to someone else’s thread). You can then
trade your point for a hosting plan.
As you can imagine some people make very irrelevant post like “Thank you”
for example. Other people make good quality post like tutorial, news,
guides, etc. I want to add a button on the forum that is only visible to me
and my forum staff. If we see a good quality post we will click the new
“quality” button. When this button is clicked 2 things will happen.
1) The post will count as 2 points instead of 1 which mean that the user’s
post count will increase when my staff or I click the button.
2) The post will be marked as “Quality Post”. In Red Color
