For the readers who Jailbreak their iDevices this is going to be great news, According to a group of hackers known as the Evad3rs the iOS 6.1 jailbreak should be dropping some time later this week.
What’s great about this release is that it will be compatible with all current iOS Devices, except for the third-gen Apple TV.
Yesterday Evad3rs unveiled evasi0n.com the official website for the iOS 6.1 jailbreak.
The official @evad3rs account tweeted the site link out today. On the site the Evad3rs note that the jailbreak is about to go into beta testing before its public release.
Currently the jailbreak tool will be released for Mac, Windows and Linux. It will support all iOS devices capable of running iOS 6.0-6.1. All you’ll need to do is plug in your device and let the tool do its thing for about 5 minutes.
