I am looking to create a script that will track specific keywords and then display them in a visual format as the keyword tracking progresses from day to day.
This would include moving averages
Top keyword of the day
Trends
This site would track the totals of various predefined words.
There would also be a realtime stream of the tweets using these predefined words.
In the beginning a simple clean layout very similar to the layout on the website above.
Needs:
1. Predefind keywords will be tracked
2. Ping twitter though api
3. Get no of count for every keywords.
4. Display the results of the predefined word count to a webpage.
5. The results should be able to be auto-updated at defined intervals
Experience with twitter’s api and php a must
