I’ve mentioned a number of controls to make it easier to provide information about map locations within iOS apps such as this great control for creating MapKit style callouts in other views.
Here’s another control called Locations With Map submitted by Pradyumna that makes it easy to create maps annotated with callout views, and also a table illustrating the details of highlighted locations.
This UI control really puts all of it together so if you are looking for a good-looking and simple way to provide a user with detailed info about specific map locations then have a look.

The control is inspired by the FourSquare’s checkin view and provide’s an easy solution for providing location details.
