I have two tables in SQL – one with product data and one with a dictionary.
In the product data table there are two coloumns – one with product name and one with product description.
In the dictionary table there are two tables – one with english words and phrases and one with the Croatian language meaning for it.
So what shall be done is a lookup word by word / phrase by phrase and to return the Croatian meaning into the coloumns for Croatian product name / product description.
Af first it shall check phrase and if not found, it shall check word by word of the phrase and if found return the Croatian meaning to the table product data into the coloumn for Croatian product name and to the product description.
If there is no entry for the single words in the dictionary it shall type the word into error log and leave the entire row empty.
The script shall be able to complete the whole table in one turn.
Here is a sample:
One of our leading products is following (it is brand new)
Dictionary:
one – jedan
of – od
our – naš
leading – vodeći
products – proizvod
is – je
following – slijedeći
it – ono
brand – požar
brand new – novcat
For words which are in Capital letters starting in english it also shall be in the output for the translation in Capital letters, no matter if it is capital or small letter beginning in the dictionary. Same is for small letters.
The output would be:
Jedan od naš vodeći proizvod je slijedeći (ono je novcat)
