WordPress & Browser Plugins

Hello, we need plugins developed for WordPress, IE, FF ad Opera for our site http://Pingler.com

To understand the requirements, please read the specifications for the project VERY carefully. Pingler works as follows: We are a ping service and we ping by default 92 different resources. We have two levels of users: free users who get up to five free pings a day (this setting we may change from time to time) and we have the premium members who pay for different ping packages. You will be required to work ONLY on the plugins codes and to co-ordinate with our coder who will implement the plugin code to our website.

It is our objective to develop plugins to spread the service and functionality of our website resulting in more subscribers to our service. The plugins should work for all users, free or premium members. However the plugins should check our website to see how many pings the user/member is entitled to and limit it accordingly.

For instance, if it is a free user and they are limited to 5 pings daily, the plugin should deliver the five pings but after that, the user should be taken to our signup page where he has the option to signup to our premium service. If it is a paid member and if he is already signed up to any of the packages and exceeds it then again he should be automatically directed to our upgrade page where he has the option to upgrade his account.

For wordpress the plugin will function as follows:

The plugin is installed into wordpress and if the user has already signed up at Pingler or has an account then he should enter his username / password. Once the plugin is installed, it should automatically add every new post in wordpress to our ping queue so that it is pinged. This should occur by the way of the plugin adding the link into the user’s account at pingler. The plugin should show titles of posts that have been sent to pingler in the plugin section and the date they were sent. For free users, the plugin should simply send the post details to our ping queue, checking of course the limitation imposed on free pings.

The plugin should operate in the background and not be intrusive. If a member exceeds his ping quota, the plugin should show that he has exceeded the number of links allowed in his account <click here to upgrade> The plugin should include a link back to Pingler.com

Browser Plugins: We want plugins for the 3 major browsers IE, Firefox and Opera.

Browser plugins should work for both free or premium accounts. Free accounts are limited to a certain set number of pings per day – filtered by IP. Plugin should send the IP address of the user so that the website knows to impose ping limitation accordingly. Plugin should have login facility for premium members and when they login then a link is established with Pingler. If they click on the pingler plugin they should see a brief summary of how many links are already in their account etc…

The way the browser plugin should work is through either drag and drop by people dragging the URL on to the ping button so the URL is automatically added to their account OR it can be programmed in such a manner that if someone wants to ping a URL they can click on the PINGLER button in their browser and this automatically transmits the URL to pingler.

The browser plugin should have a backlink to pingler.com in the about section.
