There are a lot of instances where visual noise can enhance the look of an interface. Applying graphical noise that looks good and performs adequately is difficult.
Today I came across a library from David Keegan specifically for drawing graphical noise. This library performs well, and the noise looks good. Also included is a noise view so you can draw noise on a solid color view.
The library can be used on both iOS and Mac and adjusts for screen size differences.
You can download the library known as KGNoise on Gtihub here.
A nice easy to use library that can easily improve the look and feel of your interface.
