Some time ago I mentioned GPUImage that greatly simplifies the creation of OpenGL ES video filters on the iOS platform.
I’ve also pointed out a tutorial on how to create video filters with GPUImage, and today came across a very interesting open source control that contains a collection of different live video filters and a nice image picker control for choosing the right filter.
Here’s a screenshot showing the picker with the filters running on a live stream:
In addition to providing an interface for selecting filters you can apply a radial blur to a live feed using gestures, and you can apply filters to images in the camera roll.
The control is DLCImagePickerController by Backspace.es and you can find it on Github here.
A great control and a great example on creating video filters with GPUImage.
