I’ve mentioned several tutorials for making games like the popular finger slicing game Fruit Ninja and the CCBlade class for creating a finger slicing effect with Cocos2D.
Recently I came across another set of tutorials using Cocos2D inspired by the popular Cut The Rope game.
These tutorials demonstrate how to set up a Cocos2D and Box2D project, the physics (including how to set up the ropes), setting up the rope cutting, and more.
Here’s a video demonstrating the tutorial by Gustavo Ambrozio featuring graphics by Vicki Wenderlich:
You can find the tutorial in two parts here: Part 1, Part 2.
A great example of how to set up a cutting game with rope physics.
