This is a somber and rather mood setting track. It gives you a feeling of being in a place that you are unfamiliar with, or a place that is far from home.
It uses a number of different instruments and is broken into four 0:36 second parts that build on a theme. In the first part, you have a cinimatic style bass line with an echoing bell or music box melody. In the second you have the addition of an orchestral string section. A choir is added in the third section, and a nylon, or Spanish guitar melody is added in the fourth section to round out the theme.

Though written with video gaming in mind, this track will work well with video productions and as background music for a website as well.
On gaming usage: This is a modular music track that was designed with RPG style gaming in mind. It could be used to fit a number of different situations in a game. For istance, any one of the four different 0:36 second loop tracks provided in the Zip file could be used for a utility screen, like when a player is browsing through their inventory. This track or any of its 0:36 second loop sections would fit well utilized for a backing track while a player is exploring the game world. Hence the name, “In a Strange Land.”
