This electronic piece starts off with fantastic (as in the “Fantasy” genre) feelings of wonder, journey, and discovery, and it then evolves to add a tinge of darkness towards the end. I can see it fitting in several kinds of art projects, like for example futuristic Sci Fi and Fantasy Action games and films.
Musically, this music was meant to be intense in almost every way: Rhythmically fast, progressive in its overall structure, and sonically complex, with several carefully placed layers of synths, drums, basses, guitars, and effects, each playing a specific role for setting the mood.
Additional background: The original inspiration for making this track came from looking at satellite pictures of galaxies, clusters, nebulae, and that type of stuff.
