The NSArray, NSDictionary, and NSSet collection classes provide a tremendous amount of convenience, but not the capability to perform more advanced queries with a simple syntax.
I had the opportunity to play around with a new library that I found yesterday that allows you to perform many different types of queries on an NSarray, NSDictionary, and NSSet.
Best of all you can perform more advanced queries using an easy blocks based syntax.
The library is SOCQ from Adam Burkepile and can be found on Github here where you’ll also find a listing of all the different query methods provided and a summary of how to use them.
Definitely a great time saver for working with the core NS collection classes.
