Finally!
We have only been waiting for Apple to announce the iPad 3 event since like forever! Apple just sent out invites to a special event that will take place at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 7th, 2012 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. As you can see above the tagline on the event invite reads “We have something you really have to see. And touch.”
Of course everyone is expecting Apple to announce the iPad 3, however many are also hoping that Apple will unveil a new Apple TV during the event. Rumors have also suggested that Apple could be announcing a new high-definition audio format with “adaptive streaming” this would allow iCloud and iTunes Match services to send varying qualities of audio files to different devices depending on bandwidth and hardware requirements.
Whats interesting is that the invites were sent out exactly at the same time as Google’s Eric Schmidt took the stage for his keynote at Mobile World Conference. Coincidence or? What do you think, leave us a comment below.
