Ffmpeg 0.6 For Linux

I need to convert videos for HTML5 ( MP4, OGG, WEBM ).

So I need someone to compile ffmpeg 0.6 to work on linux.

I downloaded Miro Video Converter for Mac and took the ffmpeg and ffmpeg2theora binaries from there and tried it in my linux but it said “cannot execute binary file”.

So I suppose I need to compile it for linux.
