Open Source: Library For Easily Laying Out iOS Views Programmatically With Many Different Formatting Options

Laying out views automatically is a feature that is a touted in Android, and there’s been a few libraries created that try to fill that gap in the iOS SDK.

Today I came across a library that  looks to be by far the most complete layout library of those which I’ve seen.  Allowing you to programmatically layout different views (including buttons).

Providing for many different layout formats with great flexibility this library is usable in a wide variety of situations and views of different types and sizes.

Here’s a video demonstrating the library in action showing the different layout formats:

The library can be found along with a tutorial and example on Github here.

In the library you’ll find a special type of panel known as a WePanel that provides different automatic formatting options which perfect for those projects where you need to layout views changing in number and size.

Definitely a library to use or at least watch.
