iTunes Gets “Quick Look” Update With Preview Function

If you have entered the Apple iTunes Store lately you might have noticed a bit change, last week Apple added a very useful feature for finding apps and videos in the desktop version of iTunes.

Now when you are searching for App Store apps, a new info button is available in the bottom right of each app icon. If you click on this “i” button then iTunes will open a preview of the desired app. From here you can quickly see the price, average rating, description, and screenshots.

What is great about this update is that even though you still need to click on the info button, you don’t have to keep clicki back and forth between different apps, you can simply click the close button to get rid of it. This feature saves quite a bit of time and annoyance.

You can also get quick previews when searching for movies or TV shows in iTunes now. Instead of the info button, a little play icon will initiate a quick video preview with more details. Searching for iBooks and music will also include these type of preview options.
