These 6 background images (shown in the screenshot) were created from a real abstract painting in progress. Paper strips glued on canvas were then treated to multiple washes and glazes with paint, then distressed with sandpaper and rubbing, then repainted.
The colors were created digitally and can be changed with simple hue and saturation alterations.
The large high resolution images have great detail and various textures that were made with Photoshop filters and contrasts.
