I need a scraper coded for craigslist.com or backpage.com classifieds. I need the parser to scrape the title, price, city, photos, and the actual body of the post. I would want it to pull only ads with photos. I want the data to be inserted into a database. We use awpcp.com’s classified ad plug in and I need the software to dump the scraped data into the database of that plug in (mysql).
I need to be about to select keywords for it to search for and pull the ads. For example I would want to be able to install the script on a wordpress site that is a classified ad sites for iphones with the awpcp plugin install. Then tell the script to go to craigslist and search for the term (iphone 5) and pull all the ads on craiglist for the search results and put them in the mysql database on the site along with the photos.
