I am new to making websites and I am trying to learn the ropes of it, but ran into a little trouble.

Basically what I want is when people click the submit button to submit a story, a submit instuction box comes up along with the submit text area. I want to change the instruction text to something that fits the website more and also I want there to be pretyped text already typed in where they are going to submit, possibly remove the required captcha entry.
Also when a post is submitted there is a rating system that people can click to basically “thumbs up or thumbs down” the post. I would like to also change that to something that fits the website theme more.
Also when the submit button is hit, it makes the posts, but it routes my webstie to a random page, not back to the orginal site.
