I want to “clone” the functionality of textbooks.com, with a similar design.
I have affiliate relationships with several college book sources and with Amazon.com. I would like to build a price comparison type site, very similar to textbooks.com. Site foundation would be WordPress.
Need:
Custom design (similar but not identical to textbooks.com)
Hooks into Amazon.com api for searching/displaying information
Ability to search mySql DB by name, ISBN, subject
Content areas markup/widgets for Sale Items, Best Sellers, Most Searched, etc.
Keep the right sidebar ares for adsense and affiliate ads
