I have an new access database application (with switchboard) that was built for me. I want to take this Access Database and turn it into an web-application I can access and use over the internet.
The database is a management system for my school which manages students, teachers as well as attendance and grade progress.
The web-based system will need to also have invoicing (billing) and a few reports written which i can print out. The reports should be modular, so I can give it parameter like a date span or teacher or student and pull the corresponding records for that information.
I also want to have user security or user/member rights that i can assign from an administrative panel. For example, teachers can log in to see information, but only for the students they teach in their classes etc…
This is the basics for web-app.
I want the app to be built in ASP, i will be hosting on a windows server. Of course i also want to make sure no one can hack the site, so well written code is important.
