This will be a simple job for a VERY EXPERIENCED programmer or develper. Please do not bid if you have less than 3yrs experience or if you have less than 20 reviews on scriptlance. I have a social site that needs some fixes done to it. The site was done from stratch and everything is working fine except for the following:
1. PLAYLIST & PLAYING- Whenever you click on a song it plays it right away; but it stills needs an option? We need to make the Music Symbol active to play and please restore the option to add the song to a playlist. The goal is to give users an easy and simple way to ad songs to playlist or play the songs.
a. Also, for some reason, when you click on the next page, everything gets deleted from the playlist. That shouldn’t happen. It should be able to save the playlist.
2. UPLOAD- Please reduce the song uploading process; the song uploading process has too many fields and it takes too long to upload songs. It should be a simple upload process… Song title, Artist, and Genre should be the only fields.
3. DUPLICATE UPLOAD- When a particular song is uploaded to the site, it still allows someone else to upload the same song. There is no check or anything to prevent users from uploading duplicate songs or telling them that a song with the same title is already uploaded.
4. ERROR PAGE- we are seeing white error pages from some links
5. INVITE- The friend Invite does NOT work, I’ve tried it several times; for facebook it pulls up all your friends but it doesn’t send them any invites; it also doesn’t work for Twitter. Our invite module was purchased and integrated into the site. It worked before but has never worked since facebook recently changed their profile page structure
6. WALL POST- when you comment on someone’s all, it doesn’t post on the person’s wall; instead, it post on your wall. This one should be a simple fix because I believe it is just a wrong variable issue.
7. EMAIL NOTIFICATION– whenever somebody COMMENTS (POST) and INBOX (EMAIL) MESSAGE someone else, the person should get a notification email telling them to go and check the site to read the message or comment. This was working before the site was transferred to go LIVE. It hasn’t worked since we transferred the LIVE site.
8. NEW MEMBER REGISTRATION- WHen I new member registered on the site, I have to go in the backend and physically activate people’s accounts; it doesn’t send them anything that says your account is active after registration. This needs to be fixed.
