I own a domain name that has value to many, but it isnt worth big dollars.
What I would like to do is to let 1 user from each major city have a webpage on the site; I guess kind of like a portal or a directory.
Not sure if I want them to upload content on their own, or I do it.
Not sure if it should be windows or linux o/s.
For example, and no this isn’t the real name, but lets say it is Pawn Shops dot com.
I want to let 1 Pawn Shop in each major city use the domain for a very small monthly fee. They get exclusivity, meaning that if they use the name, there will be no other competition within a 30-50 mile radius.
On the other hand, if someone is looking for Pawn Shops in Oklahoma City, only 1 business would be listed. If there are 100 major cities, then there should be 100 webpages to find.
Switching gears to the web user. They come to the website and either enter their zipcode, to locate a pawnshop; an area code; or maybe a few drop down boxes, i.e., state, then a drop down box showing major cities in that state.
They will be provided with an email address using the domain name.
