The primary purpose of this application will be entering and retrieving information from a database.
•The application will primarily be used by the civil status registration department of local governments over WAN..
•It should be a relational database based on mysql holding information displayed on the forms for birth certificate, marriage certificate and death certificate here attached.
•The application should facilitate simultaneous updates and queries from multiple authorized users.
•Information would be pulled from the database, transmitted over a network, and then arranged, graphed, or otherwise formatted by the program to the forms style and layout provided, and also print them out on the actual formats and paper sizes.
•There is the need to facilitate the scanning, indexing and storing of exiting hard copies of all three categories of certificates in electronic format.
•It will be important to keep in view that this application may actually become part of the intranet portion of a web based application in the future.
