I am looking to bring on a site admin who can help me make changes to the current site design and add functionality. I also need to integrate a new shopping cart without causing design to suffer. I need to add other automation features to the sales process, like autoresponder for order confirmation, shipping fulfillment, and future marketing messages.
The cart I am looking at using is Premium Web Cart, because of their affiliate software and other automation features, unless you have a better alternative. I am currently using a custom cart built in OS Commerce.
I need someone who is also SEO savvy to properly organize site structure. I will be doing much of the SEO work unless this person understands the SEO world well and can deliver results on a “startup” budget.
I am currently paying a programmer/design firm to manage this for me, but they charge exorbitant fees for work I believe I can have done for a quarter of their cost. I am willing to pay upfront for work, but ideally I would like to develop a long-term, profit-share based relationship while we pursue other projects.
