we have penny auction script on the cake php framework. that is not functioning correctly.
The problem is that sometimes the timer counts down and puts out a ‘paused’ message, and then resets back to 20 seconds …. sometimes it works fine.

Also sometimes the ‘highest bidder’ does not change…. sometimes it is fine.
Also the ‘you save’ value counts up instead of down when the price rises.
We actually have a complete working function in a different template… so you should be able to take it and plant the code into the faulty template.
we have many templates with similar faults and css layout issues.. but firstly we want this main template sorted out, then we can work thru all the other issues…. so lots of ongoing work, also we are building a portfolio of scripts and need bug fixes for a lot of them.
So all in all, we need a coder in php and mysql who has lots of time on their hands.
The budget is very small, but we have lots of small cute jobs and will pay for each one separately.
