I´m in need of a UDP being done as mentioned e.g. here:

Now my system is debian lenny using php5,mysql5.
What I would need is not you to do it, but rather more guide me (someone who really doesn´t know much about server admin) how to do it, so I can do it myself on all my other servers.
alternatively you may do it on one server of mine (all same setup) and write me a how-to-guide and me doing it on another server based on your how to guide (which would need to be fools safe so to say).
The target is of course make microseconds available in mysql by integrating the function now_usec()
