I am the owner of the domain and website refrain dot com. It simulates iTunes in the browser and playes music from youtube-videos. You can also import your iTunes playlist (xml) and so on. I have started this project with freelancers some time ago but because of a new job I have lost focus and so this project lays down there, unfinished. I am searching a php, js, css pro, young and fresh, with the mood to finish this website and make it a success. You should look into it, then tweak, update fix and refresh this based also on your own ideas. So please bid only if you are interested in building yourself a big reputation with an option of a partnership if things work out good.

What I have in mind is this, mixed with an old todo list that remained open. Based on this you should build a list of tasks that we will change.
– add social features, like sharing song or playlist url with twitter and Facebook
– add a public playlist to the left with itunes top 100 or similar
– make the design thiner, sleeker, less weight. reduce JS, make the code fast
– load and show the views first, then load ajax content with loading indicator
– add real url to the adress bar, even if ajax is used: http://mike.meessen.biz/blog/?p=6 so that everything has url to share
– maybe simplify the design more to look like iPod on the iPad
– design cool color schemes or lets do ONE cool scheme and we remove this color options
– search result needs a column with the date of the youtube videoÂ
– search result should remove the selection of the previous playlist (blue background) and should select the search result instead (we want to add this next task:)
– search result should have cover view and cover flow too
– under Playlists / Friends Playlist we add a new category “SEARCHES” where we add the previous five search terms. We add the select checkbox next to each item. When a user checks the box, the search is KEEPT even if it would get autodeleted as 6th item. It will stay as saved search.
– from genre we build a new playlist with the same name “Genres”
– from year we build a new playlist please with the same name “Year”
– can we make the songs transparent if they are not available in the the album view, like it is with flexigrid for not embeddable songs, if a song was not found, but 3 days later it plays well since it is allowed to embed now, it would still remain unchecked and semi transparent. We should enable such a song again.Â
– a song that is ones marked as broken should open a dialog, explaining what happen, instead of trying to playback again
– later we wanna handle such songs somehow, ie deleting or searching for another youtube result
– Bug, when I click iternity -> upload playlist, the user switches from user “Iternity to user “Hellmare”, happens on other pages too
– http://beta.refrain.com/upload should be in a popup too, like “new playlist”
