I have a client who wants a simple 4 page website. He wants to display his Craigslist listings on one of his pages.
What I will do –

1. Do a basic Joomla install with all basic extensions, plug-ins and components.
2. Provide you with a PSD design file for the website.
3. Assign one page on the website as a ‘Listings’ page.
What you will do –

1. Make a template out of this PSD and install this template onto the existing Joomla installation.
2. You will create a module, which will automatically populate the ‘Listings’ page with his C/L listings.
I can set up a basic Joomla installation and show him how to add and remove links to his CL listings but that would mean that each time his item is listed or sold, he will have to go delete them from his website’s back-end. It should be done for him, so he doesn’t have to baby sit these links. Plus bear in mind that the client is not computer savvy, so it will have to be very easy to use.
