A detailed specification also exists, which we will share with you if we decide to collaborate on this project.
We would like to have three things built:
1. A web services mysql-backed server that stores user profiles and user-generated content as well as responds to requests for that content
2. An iPhone application that allows users to create and browse user-generated content, often mashed-up with content from other social media services
3. A mobile-friendly formatted web application whose functionality closely mirrors the functionality of the iPhone application.
We would like to have the iPhone application built using Titanium mobile: https://github.com/appcelerator/titanium_mobile
We would like to work with a development team or individual who will use our source repository and who approaches software development with some sort of agile/incremental framework. We like daily code check-ins and frequent, deployable mile stone builds.
We have budgeted $5,000 for the build of our ‘beta’ version. If it looks like it would otherwise be a mutually good idea for us to work together, but that you won’t be able to complete the described functionality for $5,000 we are willing to talk about reducing the functional scope to bring the cost down to $5,000.
