The scope of the project is to have twitter like application where users can post their microblogs.
The application should have topics like function which should be categorized effectively.
For example, if the site is about mobile phones, and our site supports standard discussions about 400 mobile phone models, then if a user posts &Nokia N95 then that microblog should be listed under the Nokia N95 topic. More importantly this Nokia N95 page should have additional feature like trend chart, displaying how users are reacting to this model(we’ll discuss more on this on confirmation of the project). And users should be able to form groups, follow and unfollow a topic group or a user,and other functionalities similar to twitter.This site should be integrated with wordpress or some open cms for blogging.
Any open source technology can be used for this project. charting functionality should be flashy.(You might need to use flex). Design, look and feel should be very good.
